Our South Essex carers also flag concerns to family early — a fall risk, a sudden mood change, a fridge with not much in it — so small problems don’t become big ones.
Will it be the same carer each time?
Wherever possible, yes. We match carers to clients on personality and shared interests, and aim to keep the same 1–2 people visiting so a real relationship builds.
What if my parent doesn’t want a stranger in the house?
We start with a free no-obligation chat where they meet the manager and a potential carer. Visits start short — sometimes just 30 minutes for a coffee — and build from there.
Can companionship visits include personal care?
If light personal care (medication reminders, help with dressing) is needed, we can blend it into the visit. For more involved personal care we’d move you onto our home care service.
Do you cover evenings and weekends?
Yes. South Essex visits are available 7 days a week, including evenings and bank holidays.
