Why Redbridge Families Choose Oath
We’re based in Redbridge, regulated locally, and answer the phone ourselves — not through a national call centre.
One dedicated carer
Not a rotating roster. Your loved one builds a relationship with one or two consistent carers — which matters most for dementia.
CQC-regulated & DBS-checked
Every carer is fully vetted, trained to QCF standards, and works under our CQC-regulated provider registration.
Redbridge-based coordinator
Our senior coordinator lives and works in East London. They visit you, know your area, and your carer — not a faceless head office.
10-minute callback
Call us once and a senior coordinator rings you back within 10 minutes during office hours, or within an hour out-of-hours.
How It Works
From your first call to a carer in the home — typically within 7 days.

Carer matched and care begins
We match a carer to your loved one’s personality and needs. They move in within 7 days. You meet them first.
Common Questions from Redbridge Families
How quickly can live-in care start?
Most families start within 7 days of their first call. In urgent cases (hospital discharge from King George Hospital, Queen’s Hospital Romford and Whipps Cross, sudden illness), we’ve started care within 48 hours.
What happens when my carer needs a break?
Live-in carers work in rotations — typically 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. We always introduce the relief carer to your loved one before the handover.
How does the pricing work?
The weekly price covers the carer’s time, training, CQC-regulated supervision, and our senior coordinator’s monthly home visits. The family provides the carer’s accommodation and food. There are no agency fees on top.
Do you do trial periods?
Yes. Most families start with a 4-week placement. If it isn’t the right fit, we’ll match a different carer at no notice penalty.
Can we get help paying for live-in care?
Possibly. London Borough of Redbridge Direct Payments, NHS Continuing Healthcare, Attendance Allowance (£300–£480/month), and Section 117 funding can all contribute.
